Saying Thank You

 I want to say thank you for all the love you gave.

I know you dough Ted my love, and still loved me every day

Thank you for not giving up on me, even on my darkest of days.

I know I can be hard to understand, unconditional love you still gave.

Thank you for never judging me, even with my flaws.

You always seemed to make me feel flawless after all.

I can’t help but say thank you each and every day

For all the understanding and unconditional love you gave.

But I also need to say a few more things my dear.

You always took away my deepest of fears.

A fear of loosing you, even if loosing you was near.

You never stopped loving me, thank you again my dear.

Such a woman can exist, always giving so much

I took many things for granted; I even lost her love

I sit here with dripping tears, thinking I will never see you again.

Knowing the love and friendship we had has faded; I still feel its pain.

I was never flawless, I even made many mistakes.

I also knew that with the stress I gave, you felt you needed a break.

As time went by, I started to see why; your love meant so much to me.

Never appreciated the things you did for me. I was so blinded, you see.

But you found in your heart forgiveness, and spoke to me again

Yes it was the happiest day of my life, I could only say thank you that day.

You said, “Hello how are you?” As tears started to drip from my face.

I want to thank you so much, you made me feel special that day.

So understand while you read this poem, and clearly you can see.

Why I say thank you, to someone special to me.

Always say thank you, learn to appreciate

Let this poem see your past, the day she walks into your life again

Understand and never forget, if you loose her like I did

You will always like me, have sadness and regrets
